A weekend crop is a designated weekend (Fri – Sun) when Scrap U is open ALMOST 24/7 (close at 2:00 am, but just for a few hours) for members and paid guests. Whether working on a scrapbook, home decor or creating cards, you can enjoy the company of others while being provided ample space to spread out and create. There are fun weekend “themes” and prizes are given away all weekend long. All weekend crops are included in Queen and Princess memberships, while a Mistress membership includes six (6).  Not a member of Scrap U? Workshops are instructional classes we offer throughout the year. Each workshop will have a specific theme, layout or design, and will be taught by one of our Scrap U instructors or a guest instructor. The cost typically includes all materials needed to create the project. Basic tools should be brought by the participant. Workshops are not included in monthly memberships.

A member crop is open only to Queen, Princess and Mistress members. These are usually held over one or both weekend days. Although this is a time where Scrap U is open for members to come in and work on anything they want, in the past there has been challenges and games for even more fun!

If this is your first time visiting Scrap U – simply bring yourself! We will help you learn the lingo and find what is needed to become a scrapbook and paper crafting pro! If you are returning to Scrap U or consider yourself a seasoned veteran, there are several basic tools you should always have on hand when you come for a class or crop. A basic tool kit should include:

• Scissors
• Adhesive
• 12″ Paper Trimmer
• Foam Tape
• Liquid Adhesive
• Ruler
• Bone Folder
• Journaling Pen 

As the name suggests, this is simply a time to come in and work on your own projects.  There is no structure, prizes, or welcome gifts as is during a Weekend or Member crop. A “no-frills” crop is included with a Queen and Princess membership. A Mistress member can attend for $5 and the general public for $15.

Scrappy Bucks are like cash for Scrap U products and services. They can only be used on items that are available and in stock at Scrap U. They can also be used towards workshops or crops. They have no cash value.
